The Bloke Show Update
For weeks now I have been writing in a rather disquieting/disquieted voice. Its not my voice entirely , although there must be a large chunk of me in it. One of my best mates Dave Feeney (G’day Dave!) who has a brilliant knack of hitting the nail on the head, commented that I was a grumpy bastard… and right he is, its a very grumpy old bastard voice. I’m not really sure how it came to be (I suspect its a combination of a few things) but I don’t really feel like explaining it further or justifying it. To begin with I don’t really understand it myself. It just is.
The overall readership is building nicely, although few people admit to it …curious.
Since statistic taking began on Feb 23, The Bloke Show has seen 1051 visitors and has had 1342 reads. The most popular post entry being – The trouble with Facebook is you Pt 2, closely followed by Pt 1, Australia, Valentines, Pt 3 and Berlusconi. There are plenty of entries with fewer than 10 views recorded.
So it seems the grumpy old bastard voice is rolling along with its cynical and abrasive observations. As I say, I don’t know why they’re happening… they just are.
